About Kirtan

Kirtan is a folk music of India that involves call and response chanting that is repetitive and invokes aspects of the divine. Sometimes considered “singing meditation”, Kirtan is a great way to find peace and calm in the mind.

Shepsi will lead the experience and will use the harmonium and tamboura to accompany our voices.

Everyone is welcome. All ages, experienced or new to chanting.

Pay by donation at the door.

You can come at any time during the Kirtan and leave at any time. You

can be present and chant or just listen.

It will be up to the participants how they would like to be situated during the experience. Everyone has full permission to lay down, sit, stand up or move around.

Shepsi is a local Farmer, Musician, Father and Friend of Root To Rise Farm
